Kim Kori, a 30-year resident artist of Sedona, creates whimsical bronzes and wildlife sculpture with timeless fairytale qualities that are both playful and remarkably life-like. With a broad background in jewelry making, fine woodworking and the art of scrimshaw engraving, Kori took a job in a fine-art foundry where she learned the process of bronze casting. There she applied her remarkable scrimshaw talents to sculpting wonderful wildlife subjects. Kori has a tremendous ability to give her sculptures an enchanting quality that transports viewers to that rare place between fantasy and real life.
